We aim to offer a high standard of facilities in all our cottages to ensure our guests have everything they need for an enjoyable holiday.
Kitchen: All our kitchens are equipped to enable you to prepare the lightest of snacks to a full meal for a special occasion including electric ovens, gas/electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, blender, mixer and toaster.
Beds: All the beds are dressed with mattress and pillow protectors, sheets, pillow cases and duvets. We use good quality white cotton bedding and provide a soft bath and hand towel per guest. Beach towels not provided so please bring your own.
Family Entertainment: For your entertainment we provide a variety of paperbacks, card games and jigsaw puzzles. In our office reception you will find our free DVD and video library.
Security and Parking: For your convenience all our cottages are fitted with a key safe. Whilst some of our cottages have private parking our guests are also invited to park in our shipyard car park.
Dogs are welcome at a charge of £20 per dog per week.
Porthleven Holiday Cottages Limited is keen to promote environmentally friendly policies for our guests benefit and that of the local area. With this in mind we:
- Operate a recycling program
- Use biodegradable products
- We do not use aerosols
- Use energy saving light bulbs
- Provide recycled toilet and kitchen rolls
- Provide timers to make better use of off peak energy
- Recycle rain water for watering plants in pots and gardens
- Purchase locally
- We also apply this policy to our office workplace where we are committed to using less paper
